THE BOOK
THE SCREENPLAY
The book and the screenplay differ in their approach. A book TELLS: it is descriptive in nature, with the story playing out in the theatre of the reader’s mind. The screenplay SHOWS: it is a road map for the reader, the actors, the director, the producer, and cast and crew, to create a thoughtful yet fast-paced and action-oriented visual display that plays out on the screen before the viewer’s eyes. In both mediums, this new version of the canonical gospels is a major re-telling of the life and times of Yeshua, the Galilean man known as Jesus Christ.
SOON TO BE A MAJOR MOTION PICTURE
(Translated scrolls compiled by Reverend Billy Williams)
Overlooked for centuries, among the millions of documents stacked in the fifty-three miles of shelving in the secret archives of the Vatican central repository, the gospels of Mariam and Judas finally see the light of day.
The official version of the life of Jesus is a brief story. The four canonical gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John describe the Baptism, Transfiguration, Crucifixion, Resurrection and Ascension, but the details of the rest of his life are missing from those accounts. Yeshua is the original Hebrew name of Jesus and, like his name, his story was changed to suit the needs of the first Church.
The words written by Mariam and Judas, 2,000 years ago, tell the story of their lives and the life of Yeshua,
the man known as Jesus of Nazareth.
The ministry of Yeshua, Jesus, according to the Christian gospels, lasted about three years. Those accounts describe some of his travels but there are many blank spots in those gospels. Mariam and Judas complete and detail Yeshua’s journey, from his birth to his teenage years, as a mature adult, and all the way to the Last Supper and Passion Week.
This story, the words of Mariam and Judas, include 2,000 year-old never-before-seen maps and drawings of the places and the people who played a part in the life of Yeshua. Who, really, was Yeshua? Why is he called The Lord and Saviour? How did Yeshua become, The Son of God? Mariam and Judas knew Yeshua better than anyone else. This is the story of their lives, and the life of, Yeshua the Nazarene.
These translated ancient scrolls tell not only of Yeshua’s early life but also complete the missing pieces of his entire life to include who he really was, what he accomplished, and what really happened to him. This is the story of the life of the man, Yeshua, who is known as Jesus of Nazareth.
